There is no shortage of restaurants, cafes and other dining opportunities in the UAE. Whatever your taste or budget, from fine dining in 7* hotels to the tastiest street corner shawarma, we have the place for you. Food courts and restaurants in shopping malls are of a very high standard but please note that alcohol is generally served only in hotels.


Dubai offers a wide variety of night clubs and bars as well as concerts throughout the winter season. Concerts are generally announced close to the performance date and run from October through to April/May. In Abu Dhabi, classical concerts take place from October through to April, with less night life outside of hotels available. Night clubs have age restrictions of 21+


The UAE is a shopaholic’s paradise. From the largest mall in the world – The Dubai Mall – to the newest in the UAE – Yas Island Mall, most international designer and European high-street brands are available for men, women and children. City-wide sales take place in Dubai throughout July/August and January, and Global Village, an international shopping and entertainment destination featuring pavilions from a number of different countries selling national products and providing regular shows and entertainment opens from November to February annually.

Sport & Leisure

For participation or viewing, the UAE has the sporting calendar covered. You can get up close to tennis players, golfers, F1 drivers and cyclists during the relevant tour/season, or indeed play, drive or ride yourself. Water sports activities are offered by the beach resorts; golf courses are available for all levels of player and even motorsports enthusiasts have the opportunity to drive on a race track in Dubai or Abu Dhabi.
